Deitrick Family Dentistry

 

Dr. David Deitrick received his B.A. degree in biology from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) and then his D.D.S. degree in 1985 from the Medical College of Virginia. He graduated Cum Laude and was selected for membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Before opening his family dental practice in Severna Park in 1986, he completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. After his residency he became a clinical instructor at the University of Maryland Dental School in the Special Patients Clinic serving mentally handicapped and medically compromised patients while establishing his private practice.

He has participated in the Donated Dental Services program and was named a top Dentist by the What’s Up Annapolis Magazine in 2008. He is an active member of the Anne Arundel County Dental Society, Maryland State Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Chesapeake Dental Implant Study Club.

Dr. Deitrick and his wife Beth have 4 children, Kerry, Brandon, Emily and Tyler.  Throughout the years he has supported local youth by coaching boys and girls soccer and boys basketball with the Green Hornets Youth Sports program. He was also a tennis coach with the Baltimore Patrons as well as a scout leader with the Cub Scouts program. He supports Children’s Theatre of Annapolis, Talent Machine and Severna Park Drama Boosters and has supported the Tournament of Bands.  He was active with the Severna Park Jaycees and is currently a member of the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce and Severna Park United Methodist Church.

Deitrick Family Dentistry provides full dental care to the entire family. We are proud to be serving three generations of many families in our practice.

Dr. Deitrick believes it’s important to listen carefully to his patients, taking into consideration their needs & concerns, while making a treatment plan for their dental health.  He will give you information and treatment options to allow you to choose the option that works best for you.

Most dental procedures such as fillings, root canals, crowns, extractions, restoring implants, veneers, complete and partial dentures, periodontal treatments, bleaching as well as cleanings are completed in our office.  With most of our staff having been with the practice for over 15 years you are assured of benefiting from both their experience and their friendly and caring attitudes.
